The Ramseyer Co-operative Credit Union (RCCU) marked a significant milestone this year as it celebrated its 25th anniversary with the inauguration of a new branch.
Under the theme: "25 Years of Financial Excellence and Trust," the event brought together members, local leaders, and well-wishers who have been part of the credit union's journey since its inception.
Established in 2000, Ramseyer Co-operative Credit Union has remained committed to empowering its members through accessible financial services and community development.

Over the years, the credit union has grown significantly, from 16 members to serving thousands of members and contributing positively to the local economy.
Chairman of the Board of Governors, Minta Bieni, touted the growth of the credit union.
“We crave your indulgence to join us to officially open the branch on this momentous occasion. I would like you all to join hearts together to thank the Almighty God for his goodness, mercies and sustaining Grace for how far he has brought RCCU; from kiosk to a tower,” he said.
The CEO, Kennedy Yeboah, was celebrated for heading the union for 20 years.

He reflected on the journey of the union, asserting that RCCU celebrates this milestone due to the trust members have in them.
“We started RCCU at Adum Presby and it was our motive to prioritize the financial wellbeing of individuals and businesses, help to promote their economic wellbeing and acquire loans.
“What has really helped us this past 25 years has been our members' trust and loyalty. Some members started with us and have never stopped working with us because we deliver what we promise. We are reliable, member focused and a Christ-centered organization. Our members trust us and have profited from our transactions,” he said.

As part of the celebrations, Ramseyer Co-operative Credit Union also announced a number of initiatives for the year aimed at enhancing member services, including member and community engagements, and school donations.
The milestone event not only celebrated the credit union's past but also re-energized its commitment to serving its members and the broader community, ensuring that they remain steadfast in their mission to promote financial empowerment and well-being for all.
