Former Board Member of Hearts of Oak, Frank Nelson is backing under-pressure coach Aboubakar Ouattara to turn things around after a jerky run of form.
After a stuttering start to the season, the Phobians bounced back with series of victories which put them in conversations for the Ghana Premier League title.
However, they are now fifth on the league log and seven points off the top spot after three winless run of games.
“I believe Accra Hearts of Oak will recover, and I am confident we will do something,” Frank told Akoma FM.
“I believe that the players must encourage themselves at times, you do not always need someone to motivate you since, at the end of the day, this is your career, and being signed will benefit you.
“I believe the coach is performing well, and we should offer him more opportunities so that he can deliver."
Hearts could close the gap on leaders Bibiani Gold Stars to four points with victory in their next encounter against Nations FC on Wednesday.
