Ghana international Lawrence Agyekum has been named Cercle Brugge's Player of the Month for March following his impressive performances.
Agyekum featured in five games for the club during the just-ended month. He started all five games, which also saw him record his first goal for the club.
The 21-year-old was on target for the club in their game against Kortrijk over the weekend in the first game of the Relegation Play-Off round in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.
Aside from the goal, Agyekum also provided an assist in the game, becoming his first in the league this season.
After the voting process, the Ghanaian garnered 56.67% of the vote, beating Lucas Perrin, who came second, to the award.
March would go down as one of the best months for the former WAFA midfielder, who also received his first international call-up to represent Ghana at the senior level.
He made his debut for the Black Stars during their 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium.
