The Managing Director of Prestea Sankofa Gold Limited, Alhaji Ishaq Dauda, has made it clear that strategically repositioning the company is his priority.
He has committed to implementing prudent and pragmatic measures necessary to drive the growth and transformation of the mining firm.
He believes in applying strong policies and implementing strategic programmes that will enhance the organisation’s success and efficiency, contributing significantly to sustainable growth.
Since taking office, he has worked tirelessly with stakeholders to address operational issues, improve administrative efficiency, and boost the overall effectiveness of the company.

In a meeting with the Western Regional Minister, Joseph Nelson, on Friday, April 4, he sought the Minister’s support to propel the organisation’s growth.

The meeting also served as a courtesy call to formally introduce himself as the new MD to the President's regional representative.
Key Highlights of Dauda’s Tenure so far:
- Operational Efficiency: Dauda has initiated a comprehensive audit of the previous administration to restore transparency and accountability.
2. Community Support: The NDC in the Prestea Huni Valley constituency has thrown its full support behind Dauda, dismissing concerns previously raised by some individuals.

Looking ahead, he outlined his vision for the company: creating jobs, contributing to national development, and making Prestea Sankofa Gold Limited a thriving entity.
He emphasised his determination to achieve these goals, stating, “My vision and focus are to make Prestea Sankofa Gold Limited a better place than we found it.”
The Western Regional Minister, Mr Joseph Nelson, congratulated him on his appointment as Managing Director of Prestea Sankofa Gold Limited.
Mr Nelson urged Dauda to carry out his duties with determination and hard work, expressing confidence in his ability to resolve the company’s challenges.
“I am confident that you will bring a fresh perspective to the company and turn things around for growth,” Mr Nelson said.
