President John Mahama has called on the commissioned officers to commit themselves fully to the service of the nation.
He highlighted the importance of devotion and patriotic service as they embark on their journey as officers of the Ghana Armed Forces.
He said this while addressing the graduating officer cadets at the Ghana Military Academy on Friday, April 11 "My dear officer cadets of the Ghana Armed Forces, you stand here today as a testament to the discipline, courage, and dedication that define the Ghana Armed Forces. This is because you have successfully navigated the rigours of this commissioning course."
He continued, "You have endured both physical and intellectual challenges, overcome countless obstacles, and proven yourselves worthy of the presidential commission. The spectacular display of your achievements today is evidence of the months of dedication and commitment to your training."
The President underscored the gravity of their graduation, urging them to realise that their success is just the beginning of a lifelong commitment to serve the nation.
"Mother Ghana demands your unwavering devotion and patriotic service," he declared.
President Mahama concluded by expressing optimism about the future, saying, "As we celebrate your achievements today, we look forward to the significant contributions you will make to our nation, our sub-region, our continent, and to the entire world."
