Gyan, who was a draw assistant for this year's edition, praised CAF for the initiative, highlighting the importance of the competition.
"This is a great initiative from CAF to Africans. We didn’t get this opportunity during our time to show our skills to the whole world. This generation has got that opportunity, so I would say congratulations to CAF for this initiative," Gyan said on the sidelines after the draw.
