Twenty young women in Ho, the capital of the Volta Region, have completed an intensive, week-long training programme in batik and tie-and-dye textile production, under an empowerment initiative spearheaded by the DA Humanitarian Foundation.
The trainees at the end of the training produced the following materials.

The initiative was fully funded by the DA Humanitarian Foundation, underscoring the organisation’s enduring commitment to its mission and vision.

The training initiative was led by Mama Bobi III, Afetornyornufia of Ho Bankoe in the Asogli State, and the Foundation’s Benefactress and Advocate.

This latest intervention contributes to the Foundation’s expanding portfolio of empowerment initiatives.

The Foundation has trained over 45 young women who have received vocational training in tailoring, make-up artistry, bead-making, and soap production.

Mama Bobi III extended her deepest gratitude to donors and well-wishers and appealed to the public to continue supporting the Foundation’s mission to uplift vulnerable young women and build resilient, equitable communities across Ghana
