Patrick Owusu Agyei, the Managing Director and CEO of PSG Express Ltd, formerly known as PSG Courier Services, continues to shape Ghana’s logistics sector with bold innovation, strategic foresight, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
As a pioneering figure in freight management and digital logistics, Mr. Agyei’s leadership has placed Ghana on the map as a serious contender in Africa’s drive toward smart, technology-driven trade infrastructure.
Founded in 2009, PSG Courier Services began as a domestic delivery outfit offering parcel logistics across Accra and its suburbs. Under Mr. Owusu Agyei’s guidance, the company evolved into PSG Express Ltd, an internationally aligned freight forwarding and clearing solutions provider.

With this transformation came the development of Ghana’s first integrated digital freight platform—GoFreight Technology, launched in 2015 under PSG Express Ltd.
GoFreight Technology is a landmark achievement. It is Ghana’s first fully integrated clearing and forwarding freight management system, designed to streamline cargo operations, automate customs processes, and enhance end-to-end transparency in the country’s supply chain ecosystem. By leveraging AI, blockchain, IoT, and cloud computing, GoFreight enables importers, exporters, customs officials, and shipping agents to conduct cross-border trade with speed, compliance, and accountability.
Under Mr. Owusu Agyei’s direction, PSG Express Ltd has evolved from a logistics provider into a full-scale technology partner, championing digital transformation in Ghana’s trade ecosystem. His leadership has attracted partnerships with stakeholders in Germany, the United Kingdom, India, China, and South Korea, where PSG Express serves as a regional logistics intermediary for IVF pharmaceutical supply chains, medical imports, and high-value cargo.
Beyond commerce, Patrick Agyei’s work supports national development goals. PSG Express Ltd and GoFreight have directly contributed to reducing cargo clearance times, improving compliance with international customs protocols, and lowering trade transaction costs for Ghanaian businesses.
The company’s success story reflects Mr. Agyei’s belief in scalable, homegrown innovation with global relevance.
His commitment to continuous learning, ethical business, and service excellence has earned him widespread respect among peers and policymakers. As Ghana strengthens its position within the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), Mr. Agyei and PSG Express Ltd are poised to lead West Africa’s logistics innovation frontier.
