The International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) will begin its annual 40 Days of Power on Thursday, June 26, 2025.
This 40-day season of fasting and prayer has become a treasured time of spiritual renewal across ICGC, where believers intentionally seek God through devotion, discipline, and heartfelt intercession.
Each year, the 40 Days of Power provides an opportunity for individuals, families, and communities to deepen their relationship with God, pursue spiritual growth, and align their lives with His purpose.
It is a time of spiritual clarity, healing, and divine direction.
Throughout the 40 days, in-person prayer meetings will take place on weekday evenings at all ICGC branches, providing a space for worship, the teaching of God’s Word, and corporate prayer.
In addition, weekly prayer retreats dubbed ‘Revival Saturdays’ will be held at ICGC Christ Temple East, offering extended sessions for focused intercession, worship, and spiritual impartation.
“This is not just a fast—it is a call to intimacy with God,” said Pastor Mensa Otabil, General Overseer of ICGC in a statement preceding the fast.
“When we set time apart like this to seek the Lord, He meets us with wisdom, strength, and divine clarity for the journey ahead.”
All are welcome to participate, whether they are members of ICGC or simply seeking spiritual renewal. The 40 Days of Power is open to anyone who desires a deeper walk with God and a fresh move of His Spirit.
Prayer resources and daily guides will be made available throughout the period via www.centralgospel.com and ICGC’s official social media platforms.
