The Empowered Woman Global Foundation (TEWG) is intensifying its mission to curb teenage pregnancy and promote girl-child education through the expansion of its flagship initiative, My Beautiful Teenage Life, across more schools in the Ablekuma North Municipality of the Greater Accra region.
Following its impactful debut at Darkuman 1 Junior High School in Accra, the initiative reached a major milestone on May 30 with an outreach programme at the Kwashieman Cluster of Schools, where over 200 girls from four schools in the zone were engaged on issues affecting teenage girls.

The campaign, led by TEWG Founder and Executive Lead Bernice Kumadey, educated participants on self-worth, responsible decision-making, and the long-term consequences of teenage pregnancy on education and life outcomes.
"We’re committed to mentoring these young girls and guiding them toward better choices and brighter futures," Ms Kumadey said.

"With the right support, every girl can rise above her circumstances and achieve greatness."
The initiative has earned support from the Ablekuma North Municipal Directorate of Education, with contributions from Mr Perry E. Ofori (Municipal Director of Education), Mr Mahmood Bill (Municipal CHEP Coordinator), and Madam Dorcas Yeboah (Girls’ Education Officer).

TEWG is calling on corporate Ghana, NGOs, and individuals to support the growing outreach through donations of sanitary pads, stationery, groceries, or scholarships.
"Your support can help us extend our reach and impact more lives. Together, we can raise a generation of empowered women," Kumadey appealed.

With consistent mentoring and strong partnerships, My Beautiful Teenage Life is shaping up to become a transformative force for girl-child empowerment across Ghana.
