A 33-year-old Ghanaian man, Samuel Yeboah, has been stabbed to death at Mile 11 in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.
Eyewitnesses say the incident occurred on Monday, June 30, during a heated argument between Samuel Yeboah and his Nigerian co-tenant, Emeka Buchi.
According to reports, during the confrontation, Buchi allegedly called her son and daughter, who later returned with a group of nine unidentified individuals. The group reportedly launched a brutal attack on Yeboah, during which he was fatally stabbed.
He was rushed to Finney Hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Ayisha, a resident who assisted in transporting the victim to the hospital, told Adom News that the stabbing followed a previous altercation, during which Buchi had allegedly threatened Yeboah multiple times.
She added that three suspects, including Buchi’s daughter and sister, have been arrested, while two others remain at large.
The gruesome killing has sparked anger among the youth of Mile 11, who have issued a strong warning to the authorities. They have vowed to take matters into their own hands if the police fail to act swiftly and bring the culprits to justice.
Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been deposited at the Police Hospital morgue as investigations continue.
