Ghana Party in the Park 2025 has been hailed as one of the most memorable and culturally rich editions of the festival to date, following its successful staging on Saturday, 12th July, at Barnet Playing Fields in London.
The event, which marked its 20th anniversary, brought together thousands from diverse backgrounds to celebrate Ghanaian heritage through music, dance and fashion. Among the key figures behind the seamless production was Albert Nii Amartey Armah, the festival’s Artist Coordinator, who played a central role in curating and coordinating live performances.
Albert worked closely with Dennis Tawiah, CEO of Akwaaba UK, to deliver an electrifying lineup, with rapper Kweku Smoke headlining and King Promise serving as Creative Director. The lineup featured a mix of seasoned and emerging talent, including Sister Derby, DopeNation, Joint 77, Krymi, Beeztrap KOTM, MOLIY, Flowking Stone, and a surprise appearance by Gyakie. The ever-energetic DWP Academy also lit up the stage with their signature choreography.
“This year’s show was an outstanding success. The performances, the audience, the cultural display, everything converged beautifully,” Albert said. “And rest assured, next year promises to be even grander and more impactful.”

In addition to the musical showcases, the festival attracted notable Ghanaian personalities such as music producer Appietus, fashion icon Victoria Michaels, television personalities Delay and Adwoa Saah, Giovanni Caleb of Media General, actor Master Richard, event promoter Alordia Promotions, activist Stanley Kodia, and footballer Issahaku Fatawu of Leicester City.

The 2025 edition of Ghana Party in the Park stands out as a major highlight in the African diaspora events calendar, not only for its entertainment value but also for its role in promoting Ghanaian identity abroad.
Albert Nii Amartey Armah has emerged as a leading figure in the Ghanaian entertainment space in the UK and Europe, with a portfolio that includes multiple editions of Ghana Party in the Park (2022–2025), the Ghana Party in the Park & Business Expo 2025, and Kwabena Kwabena Live in London in 2024.
His work continues to shape and elevate the standard of Ghanaian events on the international stage.
