The Cape Coast Sports Stadium was the venue for the final event of the National Talent Identification Program (NTIP) in Zone 1.
The program saw an inspiring turnout of over 50 persons with various forms of disability from the Central Region.
The program aimed at unearthing potential para athletes brought together individuals who competed in a range of field and track events, including shot put, discus, javelin, wheelchair racing, 100m, and 800m.
Participants showcased remarkable stamina, endurance, and agility throughout the day.
The event marked a successful end to the Zone 1 leg of the NTIP, with several standout athletes identified for further development across the different sporting disciplines.
Organizers hailed the program’s impact and reiterated their commitment to nurturing talent and promoting inclusivity in sports nationwide.
