Ghana's leading insurance provider, Star Assurance, have become the latest company to have signed up for the JoySports Invitational 2025.
Star Assurance, which began as a composite company, was required by the Insurance Law 2006, Act 724, to separate its life business by establishing a subsidiary company, StarLife Assurance. As a result, Star Assurance only underwrites general business products such as motor, fire, marine, aviation, accident, and travel insurance.
Since commencing operations in April 1985, Star Assurance has grown to become the largest indigenous private insurance enterprise in terms of assets, as well as one of the top five (5) insurance companies in Ghana in terms of premium income.
The event is scheduled for August 9 at the University of Ghana Stadium and promises to bring together some of Ghana’s most dynamic corporate brands for a day of competition, wellness, and networking through sport.
This year’s tournament is proudly supported by a strong roster of sponsors, including Royal Sweet Limited(Akonor Ginger, Afriwara), Ayuda (App Baako, Services Beberee), The Game Energy (Feel the Energy), Yomi Yoghurt (A Nourishing Choice), and Luckiest *712# (Luck Is Everywhere).
Their collective backing reflects a shared commitment to promoting health, teamwork, and corporate collaboration through this flagship sporting event.
