The 2025 edition of the Greater Works Conference opened Monday evening at ICGC Christ Temple in Accra, as thousands of worshippers thronged the venue for a night of worship, music, prayer and teaching.
Preaching on 'Doing Greater Works’, Pastor Mensa Otabil cited John 14:8-14, where Jesus called on his disciples to replicate his works and do even greater works.
He described the works of Jesus as the repair of spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, social and relational situations that have gone wrong in our lives.
“Whatever stage of disrepair you find yourself in, Jesus wants to repair your life,” he said.

Pastor Otabil exposited that the statement by Jesus was made at a time when his disciples had really let Him down by their continued lack of awareness about his mission.

Addressing Ghanaians, Africans and people of African descent, Pastor Otabil declared that they would do greater works: not because of our systems, structures, leadership or natural resource management, which haven’t been great in the past, but through the help of the Lord.
“If you trust in yourself to do greater works, you may end up doing nothing because you have nothing good in you, but in Christ is all goodness,” Pastor Otabil declared, to a resounding applause.

The service was filled, with worship led by Pastor Edwin Dadson and internationally-acclaimed worship leader Nathaniel Bassey, whose spirit-filled performances lifted the crowd in intense moments of praise and reflection.

The first night of Greater Works 2025 set a commanding tone for what promises to be a transformative week.
Sessions continue each evening at ICGC Christ Temple East, Teshie, with thousands expected to return for more teaching, worship, and spiritual encounter.
