A U.S. Senate subcommittee will hold a hearing on Wednesday on the impact of the government shutdown on aviation safety, a committee official told Reuters.
The Senate Commerce aviation subcommittee will hold a hearing that will include National Air Traffic Controllers Association president Nick Daniels and Chris Sununu, the head of Airlines for America, the trade group representing major air carriers.
