Senior Deputy Chair of the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC), Ambassador Dr Abu Zein has visited the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr Osman Sharubutu, at his Accra residence on November 17, 2025.
The visit aimed to pay respects and seek the Imam’s blessings.
During the meeting, Dr Zein discussed business development and national issues, focusing on community development and social concerns, with Sheikh Dr. Osman sharing insights on peace and unity.
Dr Zein praised the Imam’s contributions to national development and Islamic leadership, highlighting his efforts to promote human rights and development in Ghana and globally.
He further expressed IHRC’s willingness to collaborate with the National Chief Imam’s office to advance human rights and peaceful coexistence among religions and societies.
The National Chief Imam was thanked for his advocacy, and Dr Zein requested continued prayers for Ghana’s development.
