The Constitution Review Committee (CRC) will today, Monday, November 24, present its report to President John Mahama at the Presidency in Accra.
The eight-member team, chaired by Professor H. Kwasi Prempeh, Executive Director of Ghana Centre for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana), was inaugurated by President Mahama to work towards the review of the 1992 constitution.
According to the Presidency, the presentation of the report would take place at 13 hours on Monday at the Presidency in Accra.
Other members of the committee are Justice Sophia Adinyira, a former Supreme Court Judge; Professor Kwame Karikari; Charlotte Osei; Dr Godwin Djokoto; Ibrahim Tanko Amidu; Dr Esi Ansah; and Dr Rainer Akumperigeya.
The Committee, which was inaugurated on January 30 by the President, was initially supposed to present its findings to him in August, but due to the huge volume of the task, it asked for an extension of three more months.
