Actress and entrepreneur Fella Makafui has taken legal steps following a deeply inappropriate remark made about her five-year-old daughter, Island, on social media.
The offensive comment, posted by an individual identified only as “Ghatu” on Twitter (now X), appeared beneath a video Makafui shared of her child.
The actress described the message as “completely unacceptable” and said it exposed her daughter to language no minor should ever encounter.

“The incident has caused me immense emotional distress and sleepless nights,” Makafui stated. “No parent should have to endure seeing their child spoken about in such a harmful and inappropriate manner.”
While the individual has since issued an apology, Makafui emphasised that this does not diminish the severity of the comment.
She confirmed that the matter has been formally reported and is now under the management of her legal team.
Makafui added that she will not engage in online discussions regarding the incident, insisting that the focus must remain on safeguarding the dignity and well-being of her child.
