Chief Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonniehas paid a courtesy call on the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) in a move aimed at strengthening cooperation between the Judiciary and the Ghana Police Service.
The visit, which took place at the Police Headquarters in Accra, formed part of ongoing efforts to promote closer institutional collaboration in the administration of justice, the enforcement of the law and the maintenance of internal security.



It also emphasised the shared responsibility of both institutions in upholding the rule of law and protecting the rights of citizens.


During the engagement, Justice Baffoe-Bonnie highlighted the critical role of the Police Service in supporting the work of the courts, particularly through thorough investigations, effective prosecutions and the enforcement of court orders. .

He stressed that professionalism, respect for due process and adherence to constitutional principles by the Police Service were essential to ensuring public confidence in the justice system.
