The Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Elikplim Akurugu, has officially handed over a newly constructed library to the Kwabenya Community Senior High School, marking a significant step toward improving academic resources for students in the area.
The brief ceremony, held on the school’s premises, brought together school authorities, community leaders, students, and education stakeholders.
The project forms part of the MP’s commitment to improving educational infrastructure and creating a conducive environment for teaching and learning in the constituency.
Speaking at the event, the MP noted that access to a well-equipped library is essential in shaping the academic future of students.

She emphasized that the facility will help learners conduct research, improve their reading culture, and enhance their overall academic performance.
According to her, investing in education remains one of the most effective ways to empower the youth and support national development.
She encouraged students to take full advantage of the new facility by dedicating time to reading and academic exploration.
School authorities expressed gratitude for the intervention, describing the library as a timely support that will greatly benefit both students and teachers.
They also appealed for continued collaboration to further improve infrastructure and learning resources in the school.
Students who attended the ceremony welcomed the new facility with excitement, saying it will provide them with a better space to study, prepare for examinations, and develop their knowledge beyond the classroom.
The handing over of the library is expected to strengthen academic activities at the school and support the broader goal of improving educational standards within the Dome-Kwabenya constituency.
