Member of Parliament (MPs) for Keta Constituency, Dzidzorli Kwame Gakpey, has laid his mother to rest.
The funeral of the late Presbyter Henrietta Atsufui Avuglah took place at Anlo-Afiadenyigba in the Volta Region on Saturday, with MPs, government appointees, senior state officials, and others in attendance.
The government delegation was led by the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah.

A number of MPs from both sides of the house were in attendance, led by 1st and 2nd Deputy Speakers of Parliament, Bernard Ahiafor and Andrew Asiamah Amoako.

Other leaders from the House include: Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga, Majority Chief Whip Rockson-Nelson Etse Kwame Dafeamekpor.

Other Regional delegations were led by the Voltage Regional Minister, James Gunu.

The late Avuglah passed away at the age of 76 after a short illness, leaving behind five children, Enyonam, Lambert, Holy, Nyatefe, and Dzidzorli Kwame Gakpey.
