Victor Kofi Owusu, also known as Abusuapanyin Tupac, the Family Head of the late music legend Charles Kojo Fosu, aka Daddy Lumba, has been formally summoned by the GaDangme traditional authorities.
The summons, issued by Wor Lumor Konor Nuumo Borkete Laweh Tsuru, the Gorbu Wulomo-Shitse and Spiritual Overlord of the GaDangme State, requests Mr Owusu to appear at the Nungua Palace on Thursday, 13th March 2026, at 11:30 am.
According to the notice, the appearance is connected to public concerns regarding the alleged burial of Daddy Lumba at his private residence in East Legon, Accra.
The matter has sparked widespread discussion and sentiments among sections of the GaDangme community.

The Spiritual Overlord has called on the family head to provide clarification and engage in dialogue in line with customary protocols, to ensure that the concerns raised are addressed and that harmony is maintained.
The letter emphasises that Mr Owusu’s cooperation is expected “in the interest of maintaining harmony, respect for tradition, and peaceful resolution of the issues raised,” highlighting the role of traditional authorities in overseeing such matters within the GaDangme State.
The development marks the latest chapter in discussions about the late Daddy Lumba’s burial arrangements, highlighting the intersection of modern practices and traditional customs in Ghanaian society.
The Nungua Palace has urged that the summons be treated with urgency and respect.
