The Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL), Edward Bawa, has assured Ghanaians that the country will not face fuel shortages despite the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
Speaking during a visit to the GOIL filling station at 37 in Accra as part of activities marking GOIL Pride Day in celebration of Ghana Month, Mr. Bawa emphasized the company’s commitment to protecting consumers.
“We will make sure there wouldn’t be shortage in the country. We have taken some hit to make consumers enjoy regardless of the current crisis. We are obligated to share part of our margins with consumers,” he said.
He explained that GOIL is strategically managing its operations to maintain steady fuel supply across the country while cushioning customers from the full impact of global price fluctuations.
GOIL Pride Day, celebrated at the 37 Station and other locations nationwide, seeks to engage customers and staff while promoting the company’s identity as a proudly Ghanaian oil marketing firm.
The initiative also reinforces GOIL’s commitment to national development and delivering value to its consumers even during challenging periods in the global oil market.
