Tigo Ghana has announced appointment of Sam Adjei-Sah as its new Head of Sales, effective March 9, 2015.
He joins Tigo with about 18 years’ experience in sales and distribution from both the fast-moving consumer goods and telecommunications sectors.
Sam was previously a Sales Consultant for MTN Rwanda and also worked in its Uganda operations. Prior to that he worked as the Commercial Head of the South East Business District and Senior Manager for Sales Development at MTN Ghana.
He previously worked in a similar role with the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Ghana.
Tigo’s Chief Executive, Roshi Motman, said: “We are very excited to have Sam join us. He has a remarkable track record of increasing sales and revenue through effective channel management and robust regional structures. I am confident he will help us strengthen our brand and support Tigo’s continued growth and rising popularity across the country.”
Sam will be responsible for Tigo’s sales and go-to-market strategy. He holds an Executive MBA from the University of Ghana Business School.
