A former employee of Coca Cola Ghana is demanding more compensation for medical complications he suffered whilst working for the company.
Prince Addo allegedly fell from a truck and broke his spine while working for the Beverage Company in 2002.
Upon the intervention of CHRAJ and the National Labour commission, he was paid a little over GH¢1000 as compensation in 2004.
But Mr. Addo is now demanding more money.
He said he has been incapacitated despite the years of medical treatment received.
He told Joy News that officials of Coca Cola are breaching parts of the agreement that requires that he should be re-compensated should he suffer further complications.
"In fact it's very very bad that as a citizen I would be treated this way," he said.
Meanwhile officials of the Coca Cola Company say Mr. Addo can only be re-compensated after a medical team at Korle Bu determines his current state of incapacitation.
