The Ministry of Finance is calling for inputs from civil society groups and other professional bodies ahead of its November budget presentation.The Ministry is hoping that the views of these groups will be considered during the process of formulating the budget statement, Deputy Finance Minister Seth Tekpe, hinted.However, these groups have September 18 to get their views to the ministry. This will be the first time the Mills administration is presenting its financial statement ahead of its fiscal year to allow Parliament debate and pass the budget before it rises for recess.Meanwhile the ministry has begun taking budget projections from the ministries, department and agencies in what is called The Budget Hearings.Source: Joy Business/Myjoyonline.com
