The CEO of the defunct Ghana@50 Secretariat, Dr C. Wereko-Brobby, has denounced allegations of intimidation by the managing director of Amalgamated Designs, a management consultant and project designer who was contracted to work on the presidential mansions as a professional architect during the Ghana@50 celebrations.
On October 7 when the MD of Amalgamated Designs appeared before the commission of inquiry, he accused Dr Wereko-Brobby (Tarzan) for subjecting him to hatred and intimidation because he had insisted that contractors follow due process in the execution of their contracts.
But on his second appearance before the Ghana@50 Commission of Inquiring Wednesday, Dr Wereko-Brobby explained he did not subject Mr Noshie to any sort of intimidation.
According to him, he threatened Mr Noshie with dismissal on many occasions but actually dismissed him on only one occasion.
The MD also claimed that the secretariat owes him an outstanding balance of GH¢115,596 but Tarzan told the commission “he’s not owed any money at all.”
