The event co-ordinator, Verus Narty reacting to allegations and concerns of favouritism and changes of the numbers of the contestants told Myjoyonline that, there was nothing like favouritism and that the winner was chosen fairly.
He said the winner was the choice of the people and that the organisers had no hand in determining the winner. It was done through text messages received and the help of judges Josh Ansah, Akosua Agyapong and Ama K. Abebrese.
He said the numbers of the contestants were realigned since six contestants were evicted from the weekly show. This he said brought about the changes of the contestants' numbers.
Verus expressed absolute confidence in the winner and hoped that she will win the Africa finals next year.
Asaase Aban, Srew Face, H-Mode, Ayigbe Edem and Obuor treated the audience to some good music with their sterling performances.
