A host of Ghana internationals found their names on the score cards in leagues abroad over the weekend.
Starting from Egypt, midfielder Ibrahim Ayew scored the decisive goal to seal a 3-2 win for Zamalek over Military Production on Saturday.
Ayew's strike was his first for Zamalek in the Egyptian Premier League since his signing from Eleven Wise in close season.
Sulley Muntari scored the opener for Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan in their 2-1 victory against Catania on Saturday to remain top of the Serie A.
In the Premiership, Michael Essien scored a fantastic goal as Chelsea romped to a 5-0 win against Blackburn.
Essien unleashed a 35-yard strike in the second half past goalkeeper Paul Robinson to register Chelsea's third goal on the afternoon which keeps them top of the table two points better than Manchester United.
Asamoah Gyan helped Rennes to a 3-0 win over Montpellier in the French Lique 1 on Saturday night.
The Ghana striker who returned from injury scored the last of Rennes three goals in stoppage time.
