One of Ghana’s most successful satirist, Kwaku Sintim-Misa popularly known as KSM has been appointed by the government as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Theatre Company.
He told Joy FM's Super Morning Show host Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, “I have not been informed officially,” but he was very excited to be appointed.
Asked what he brings to the appointment, he said “I hope that the terms of reference will not be about only working on paper but it should be about how to power up theatre in Ghana and bring about development and also turn theatre in to a real business that is where I can help.”
He said his appointment will not prevent him from doing his normal television productions. “I will still be hosting my Thank God Is Friday and every now and then I will be dropping on stage to do my own thing.”
Other members of board include:
Chairman Dr. Alex Agordor
Members:
Mrs. Diana Hopeson
Ms. Korkor Amarteifio
Ms. Lilian Bruce-Lyle
Nana Yaw Kwakye
He also revealed that he has just finished shooting his movie and Ghanaians should expect it very soon.
