Drive Time on Joy 99.7 FM took on a new colour when the 10 Miss Malaika 2009 beauty pageant finalists appeared on the show Wednesday.
The lovely ladies took turns to share fond memories of their tours around the country and their brief trip to South Africa.
It was fascinating listening to them as each of them considered herself as favourite to wear the crown but each admitted that her colleagues were, indeed, a tough challenge.
The winner of the pageant will take home a brand new KIA Cerato courtesy Rana Motors, a GH¢4,800 annual salary and GH¢1,200 worth of talk time courtesy MTN, a year’s supply of hair extensions, cosmetics, a fully stocked wardrobe and a whopping GH¢15,000 promotional contract, also with MTN.
The Miss Malaika winner will be signed on to work with the National Malaria Control Board as a malaria ambassador and a charity icon for Ghana’s No.1 mobile phone network MTN and the coveted crown.
A team of judges will be looking out for qualities and attributes such as beauty, intelligence, charity, creativity, boldness, eloquence, courage, confidence and assertiveness from the ladies.
The final show comes off Saturday 14 November, 2009 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
