Mr. Edward Agyekum Kufuor, son of ex-President John Agyekum Kufour, has dragged his business partner, Kwame Opoku, to an Accra Circuit Court for allegedly stealing from a contract sum of 2.9 million dollars.
The contract awarded to Mr Kufuor's company, Axexs Limited, in 2003 was to supply meters to the Ministry of Energy.
The case was listed for Monday, December 14, but had to be fixed for tomorrow, Tuesday, December 15, for hearing. The adjournment was to enable the prosecutor to study the docket for prosecution.
