Algerian referee Mohamed Benouza has been handed the task to officiating the tension-packed Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final match between Ghana and Angola on Sunday.
Benouza, 38, was in Ghana two years ago in his first Nations Cup appearance but officiated in the 2007 Fifa Under-20 World Cup in Canada.
He has been preselected as a referee for the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa.
Ghana are playing Angola for the first time in the last eight of the tournament.
