Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos is not "bothered" about Rafa Benitez's dissatisfaction after he gave away a penalty against Atletico Madrid and also questioned the Spaniard's defensive approach to the derby.
Ramos felled Tiago Mendes in Real's 1-1 draw with Atletico on Sunday but Antoine Griezmann's subsequent spot kick was saved by goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
Benitez, who was criticised for apparent defensive tactics in the match, said after the game: "We were ahead and we have made mistakes, with the penalty and the goal."
Spain international Ramos said in Marca: "It was a childish mistake, but I won't lose any sleep over it. Anything that Benitez has to say he can say when he sees me. I'm not concerned or bothered.
"We all make mistakes and we don't do it on purpose. Luckily Keylor was on hand and it didn't affect the final result. Just as people talk about my mistake, they'll talk about the substitutions."
Of the accusations that Real were too cautious in the Madrid derby, Ramos said: "We did things really well, but the team played far too deep towards the end of the game.
"The Vicente Calderon is a tough ground to play at and you just end up focusing on finishing the game, holding on and not looking for a goal."
Ramos, who signed a new five-year contract with Real in the summer, was also asked about Benitez saying that he would drop star man Cristiano Ronaldo should the forward suffer a dip in form.
He added: "We all have our own opinion. No player is irreplaceable in football, although I'm not going to give you any headlines against my coach. He's an amazing manager."
