The Ghana League Clubs Association has expressed shock at the untimely death of Bartholomew Yeboah, a 19 year old Kessben FC player, in a League match.
The Association said for a budding talent as he was, his loss has brought grief not only to his immediate playing colleagues and family but to the entire football fraternity.
Mr Kurt S. Okraku, Administrative Manager of the Association, in a message of condolence to the Executive Chairman of Kessben FC and family of the deceased, entreated all to be steadfast and give thanks to the Almighty God as he knows best.
"As we all struggle to come out of this shock, we just want you to remember that you are not alone in this moment of grief and sorrow,” he said.
Mr Okraku assured that “the League Clubs Association stands shoulder to shoulder with the whole Kessben family and may the good Lord give our brother and son a peaceful resting place, [adding that] may his soul rest in peace".
