Accra Hearts of Oak established their dominance over arch rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko by beating them one goal to nil at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi Sunday.
The defeat ensured the Phobians record a double having beaten the Porcupine Worriers in the first leg in Accra.
The victory also took Hearts to the top of the Glo Premier League, displacing Aduana Stars who lost their game against Kessben FC.
Undoubtedly, supporters of Hearts of Oak have gained the bragging rights.
Kumasi King Faisal gained a respite and boosted their chances of evading relegation by defeating Great Olympics.
By this result, things look grim for Olympics whose coach, Dauda Lutroth had a hectic time getting out of the stadium as supporters tried to heckle him, reports say.
He had to be escorted by dozens of police personal into the dressing room to avoid anything untoward happening to him.
Berekum Arsenals also beat Liberty Professionals.
