Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak Dr.Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe has hinted the club will head to court to contest the verdict of the appeal’s committee of the Ghana Football Association.
The committee overturned the ruling of the disciplinary thus restoring Kotoko’s six points which sees the Porcupines move to second on the league log.
The ruling means the Phobians lose the three points they gained from the board room and subsequently move to 13th position on the league log with 40 points.
Speaking on Asempa F.M’s Ultimate Sports Show, Nyaho-Tamakloe hinted the ruling is unacceptable and Hearts will pursue this case to the letter.
"I don't want to talk much, except to say we have taken notice of the [Appeals Commitee] decision. But we must all know that the FA is ruled by laws, and this is not the end of this matter. If we think we must go further to prove our case, we will."
When pushed further by show host Benedict Mensah, Dr. Tamakloe hinted strongly that the Phobians will seriously explore the court option, despite the well-known stance of FA regulations that prohibits football matters to be taken outside the body's laid-down review processes.
"Don't forget I have taken a football issue to a civil court before, and won. So let's not say we can't go to court. If it becomes necessary, we will go to a civil court."
