Hearts of Oak general manager Gerald Ankrah has urged patience for new coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi.
The Phobians' performance in all competitions last season was woeful as they risked were nearly relegated from the First Capital Plus Premier League. In their quest to do well next season, the Accra-based side have moved for the Japanese-American trainer who they have tasked to win the title.
The fans cannot wait for things to improve but Gerald Ankrah has warned they need patience for the new coach
“In our corperate establishment decisions are taken and they are reviewed at the end of everyone’s tenure,” he told Asempa fm.
“We have had meetings and assess our performance both on and off the field and I can assure you that the realisation has come and there are certain basic weaknesses we have identified and again the board is decided to look forward than to take short term decisions.
“We just have to take things cool and support the coach in every aspect of the game for him to bring us to the level we have all been looking for.”
