Local Black Stars coach Herbert Addo has set his sights to the ultimate glory when the CHAN tournament kicks off later this year.
The Stars edged out Burkina Faso in the final qualifier courtesy a priceless Bismark Idan goal in the 38th minute of the game played at the Ohene Gyan Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Stars qualified by a 1-0 aggregate after the first leg ended goalless in Ouagadougou.
An elated Stars coach Herbert Addo told Joy Sports’ Ridwan Ibrahim Asante that they will go a step further than they did two years ago when the tournament was introduced.
The Stars were beaten by DR Congo in the final of that tournament played in Burkina Faso.
Herbert Addo said he will liaise with the management team in order to build a winsome side before the tournament begins in Sudan.
