Scores of lucky and loyal subscribers of Glo Mobile will have the opportunity of being on the guest list at the prestigious Glo-CAF Awards ceremony as Glo launches the “Find Your Place among the Stars” promo, ahead of the 2015 edition of the awards.
A statement from Glo said the event takes place on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the International Conference Centre, in Abuja, Nigeria and winners in the promo will be airlifted from Accra to Abuja directly and will be accorded treatment ‘befitting royalty all the way’.n
According to Glo, the promo presents a fine opportunity for many subscribers on its network to join football legends, top football administrators like the President of Confederation of African Football (CAF) and acting FIFA President, Alhaji Isa Hayatou, top businessmen and showbiz icons from across the continent and beyond to celebrate the best football stars and administrators in Africa.
Being the single most prestigious football awards platform in Africa, the Glo-CAF Awards has always generated a lot interest among soccer-loving Africans and the continent’s telecommunications giant, Globacom, has been its proud sponsor since 2005.
“Our subscribers have been the brand’s pillar of strength since we rolled out services and this is another golden opportunity to appreciate and reward them for their patronage and support,” Glo said.
Under the “Find Your Place Among the Stars” promo, which is open to all Glo customers, subscribers are simply expected to recharge and use up GHS 150 worth of airtime or more monthly from November 2015 to December, 2015 and text “CAF” to 5014 for an opportunity to win a couple's invite to attend the Awards. Each SMS shall be charged 50 pesewa.
This time around, the winners get to travel along with their spouses in order to make the experience a memorable one for each of them.
Glo Mobile has already announced that a variety of world-class entertainment has been lined up for the pleasure of guests at the Gala night while they meet and interact with African football icons at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, Nigeria.
