Management of microfinance company, Dwadifo Adanfo at Kasoa in the Central Region has begun the payment of customers' savings.
The customers picketed at the company’s offices on Wednesday to demand the release of their savings after being tossed around several times. The company was later closed down by management, causing uneasiness among customers who had suspected that officials of the company had ran away with their monies.

Joy News' Ekow Sam who was at the offices of the company reports that the customers have started receiving their monies.
However, only half of their savings will be released. Management of the company says it cannot afford a complete payment immediately.
Some customers are comfortable with taking only half of their savings.
But others have expressed disgust at the development. They do not understand why they will be given only half of what they have saved. One asked “so how do I know when to take the rest of the money”.
Police officers are at that premises to ensure that the ‘charged atmosphere” as Ekow observed does not escalade into anything untoward.
Meanwhile, the Brong Ahafo branch of the comapny in the Brong Ahafo Region was still locked up.
Joy News' correspondent, Anas Sabit says there is no sign of it opening anytime soon.
