Ghana held their Ethiopian counterparts to a 2-2 draw in the first leg match played in Addis Ababa a fortnight ago with goals coming from Kate Addo and an own goal from Ethopian Hassabi Muso The team have pitched camp in Kumasi sinceTuesday and played a friendly game as part of their preparations towards the game.
The winner of today’s tie will qualify for the World Cup to be held in Papua New Guinea next year. Ghana beat Equatorial Guinea in the second round to reach this stage with striker Jane Ayieyam leading Ghana’s scoring chart with three goals.
