Ghana have received a boost with the news that Andre Ayew will start against Comoros on Tuesday.
Reports from the Stars camp indicate that despite widely felt fears about a knee problem, the Swansea star is in good health. This has been accentuated by his participation in the team's training session on Monday.
The Black Stars need a win against their island visitors who held them to a 0-0 draw on Friday, in a game where Ayew was a clear standout.
Despite having ice on his knee on Saturday in the recovery training at the Accra Sports Stadium after returning from Comoros, team news indicates that Ghana's talisman will be fine.
Swansea are watching keenly, considering how key he has been for the English Premier League club this season - and they'd want him ready for their game with Bournemouth on Saturday.
For Ghana, he may be the key to getting a place in the group stages of 2018 World Cup qualifying locked down.
