On Tuesday night, Ivory Coast, Tunisia and Algeria joined other African heavyweights in the draw for the group stages of 2018 World Cup qualification.
With Libya, Cameroon, Congo, Ghana and Nigeria securing their qualification earlier, all of the other expected teams also made their way into the third round.
The biggest result was Algeria thrashing 10-man Tanzania 7-0 at home for a 9-2 aggregate result, while Egypt thumped Chad 4-0 to seal a 4-1 aggregate win.

Group Stage Draw
The 20 teams will be drawn into five round-robin, home-and-away groups of four teams each. The five group winners will qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. The date for the draw has not yet been announced.
