TP Mazembe coach Patrice Cateron has lauded the influence of his Ghanaian players in their CAF Champions league winning feat.
Ghanaian quartet of Solomon Asante, Yaw Frimpong, Richard Kissi Boateng and Daniel Nii Adjei were phenomenal in their final two legged finals against Algerian side USM Algiers.
Cateron believes the players’ hard work and dedication to the Mazembe course cannot be overlooked.
“There were very important in the difficult moment of the season because they were really strong mentally and I’m proud of all of them,” he told Joy Sports
“They have a very good education and tactically they are doing very well, they are very competitive as well and we can always rely on them anytime.”
