Asempa FM has learnt that former Chief of Staff under the Kufuor administration, Kwadwo Okyere Mpiani and Chief Executive Officer of the erstwhile Ghana@50 Secretariat, Dr. Charles Wereko-Brobbey, are being grilled by the Police Criminal Investigations Department.
The two former officials, according to reports, were invited by the CID at 10 am Wednesday morning.
It is believed that they will be officially charged by the CID after series of investigations into activities of the Ghana@50 Secretariat.
Asempa News’ Kwaku Antwi-Otoo reports that, officers at the CID Headquarters are tight-lipped on what could be the likely outcome of the meeting.
