The Alliance for Accountable Governance (AFAG), a pressure group, is urging the National Communications Authority to urgently organize a public forum to enable mobile phone users inform telecom operators about the problems they face.
The pressure group made the call after releasing results of a survey dubbed the "Voice for Telecommunication Efficiency" or VOTE initiative.
The survey was conducted from all the ten regions but results from seven regions clearly show consumers remain dissatisfied with services provided by telecom operators.
AFAG secretary, Arnold Boateng, said that consumers had issues with call drops, high call charges and bad networks.
He said it is high time the NCA addressed the concerns of consumers and held telecom operators accountable.
Meanwhile Communications Minister Haruna Iddrisu has given assurance that the government will work to ensure better services to consumers.
According to him the plans to roll out the number portability programme are underway and must significantly ensure subscribers get value for money.
Telecom operators in Ghana have come under intense criticism for providing poor quality services although charges remain very high.
