Hearts of Oak assistant coach Yaw Preko has allayed fans’ fears amidst the poor pre-season form and lack of transfer activity by the club.
According to Preko, the technical team are working behind the scenes to build a competitive team ahead of the league season.
Hearts have lost to WAFA and Al-Itihad and have failed to attract any big name signing to the club much to the chagrin of the fans but Preko believes all is well.
“We are trying, we want to bring the glory back to the fans of Hearts of Oak,” he told Asempa Sports
“We have to implement to our ideas into the materials at the club. We are gradually doing this.”
“Fortunately, the league has been pushed back so we can work hard with the boys for them to grasp our concepts.”
“We are confident we will compete very well by the start of the league.”
Hearts of Oak take on Al-Itihad on Friday as part of their pre-season tour of Libya.
