Former Hearts of Oak striker Mahatma Otoo has called on the current management of Hearts of Oak to involve old management members in the day to day running of the club.
Hearts have endured a torrid spell both on and off the pitch in recent seasons with the Phobians escaping relegation only by a superior head to head record only last season.
The start to this season has also been abysmal for the Phobians losing pre season friendlies and missing out on reported transfer targets.
Mahatma believes expertise of old management could be pivotal in overturning the fortunes of the club
“I follow the progress of Hearts of Oak and it hasn’t gone so well. They were almost relegated last season and they are petty problems as at now,” Mahatma told Joy Sports
"The current management of the team have to involve their predecessors. Those who were there and have the run the team before."
"You have to involve them in the day to day running of the club because they have been there and they have faced such problems before and they knew how to come out of it."
I think they are the best people needed now, they need to be united and Hearts of Oak will return to its glory days.
